The European Association of Test Publishers (E-ATP) Conference is one of the most significant gatherings in the assessment and testing industry, drawing professionals from across Europe to explore the latest trends and innovations in the field.
Yet again, MeasureUp has had the privilege of being a part of this esteemed event, which took place in the picturesque city of Vienna. With our CEO, Sam Brocal, and our Key Account Manager, Rosa Torralba, in attendance, MeasureUp made its mark at the conference.
Sam Brocal and Rosa Torralba Lead the Way
One of the highlights of this year's E-ATP Conference was the interactive session led by MeasureUp's CEO, Sam Brocal, and our Key Account Manager, Rosa Torralba. Their session, titled "Artificial Intelligence – A Content Creator's Ally or Nemesis? Or a Bit of Both?" delved deep into the role of AI in content creation, a topic that resonates strongly in today's education and certification sectors.

A Dynamic Debate
Sam and Rosa came prepared with ten thought-provoking questions to fuel their discussion on the impact of AI on content creation. However, what transpired exceeded all expectations. The session quickly became a dynamic exchange of ideas, with participants eagerly sharing their insights, experiences, and opinions on the subject.
Time Flew, but the Conversation Continued
Such was the enthusiasm of the audience that Sam and Rosa managed to address only one question in the allotted time. While they were unable to cover all ten questions, the immense interest and active participation of the attendees demonstrated the urgency of this conversation. As a result, MeasureUp is already planning a follow-up session to explore this fascinating topic further.
MeasureUp's Stand on AI in Certification and Education
While the debate on whether AI is ready to take over from humans in educational content creation is ongoing, MeasureUp’s stance concerning the application of artificial intelligence in certification and educational contexts is clear. As Sam and Rosa succinctly put it during the session, "No, not yet."
MeasureUp remains committed to providing top-notch, authentic, and human-curated content for certification and educational purposes. We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity and reliability of our assessments, and for now, we believe that a human touch is indispensable in ensuring the quality of our products.
