Using the Task Manager

The Task Manager tool offers a quick overview of key system resources such as memory and CPU usage, the status of applications currently running, and processes in use on the system (see Figure 6.1).

You can invoke the Task Manager in several ways, including the following:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager
• Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then select Task Manager
• Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc
