The network protocols, as shown in Figure 4.1, control the communications between computers on a network. Different network protocols provide varying communications services and capabilities.




Windows NT Workstation 4.0 doesn’t support AppleTalk connectivity. Only Windows NT Server 4.0 can be configured with Services for Macintosh.
