Managing resources is important in the administration of Windows NT Workstation. Managing resources refers to the computer accounts on the workstation, both for users and groups, as well as the resources on the workstation. Being able to set appropriate permissions either to allow or restrict access to resources based on a user or group account is key to an effective implementation of Windows NT Workstation. Resources refer not only to files and directories on the Windows NT Workstation, but to printers as well.
