Exercise 2.6: Changing Hardware Settings for a Network Adapter

This exercise shows the necessary steps to change the hardware settings for a network adapter.

Objective:	Install, configure, and remove network adapter drivers
Time Estimate:	10 minutes
1.	Double-click on the Network program in Control Panel.
2.	Click on the Adapters tab.
3.	Select the desired network adapter in the Network Adapters section.
4.	Click on Properties.
5.	Modify the network card properties to the desired settings, and then click on OK.
6.	Click on Close in the Network dialog box.
7.	Wait while your bindings are recalculated.

1. Click on Yes to restart your computer.
