Working with Tape Device Drivers

The user interface for viewing configuration information on tape devices in Windows NT 4.0 has been moved to the Control Panel (see Figure 2.7).

If you want to have Windows NT 4.0 automatically detect tape devices, click on the Devices tab, and then click on Detect. If you would rather view device properties, click on Properties. You can also add and remove device drivers by using the Add and Remove buttons that can be found by selecting the Drivers tab. You do not have to restart Windows NT if you add or delete any tape devices.
