Softricity Exam/Certification FAQ

1.       Is there still a Softricity Certified Professional Exam?

a.       No, the certification has been suspended due to the acquisition by Microsoft.

2.       Is there still a Microsoft SoftGrid exam?

a.       Yes, we have updated the exam to align with SoftGrid 4.2.  It is an assessment exam and does not confer a certification.

3.       What is the link to the new assessment exam?

4.       Can I retake the exam if I don't pass?

a.       Yes, but you must wait 24 hours.

5.       How do I login to the exam as a Partner?

a.       Just choose the Partner option and enter your MS Partner ID.

6.       How do I login to the exam as a Employee?

a.       Just choose the Employee option and enter your Employee ID.

7.       How do I login to the exam as a Customer?

a.       Just choose the Customer option, there are no invitations required.

8.       What about proctored exams?

a.       At the present time, this option is only available at certain partner events.

9.       Who do I contact if I have technical difficulties with the exam?

a.       Please email support@measureup.com

10.   Will I get a certificate?

a.       Successful exam candidates will have the opportunity to print out a certificate at the end of the exam.

11.   Will there be a Microsoft SoftGrid MCP certification?

a.       We are still in the planning stages and have no timeframe as of yet.

12.   So what is in it for me as a Partner?

a.       We will track Partners' aggregate results and provide to the Microsoft field and to potential customers searching for a Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization implementer.

13.   So what is in it for me as an customer?

a.       The option to test your knowledge of SoftGrid.  Please note, due to privacy concerns , we cannot verify your results to third parties.
