Certifications our vendors offer:
Cisco offers Associate, Professional and Expert levels in network installation and support, network engineering and design, service provider, and security. There are several Cisco Qualified Specialist certifications.
CIW specializes in internet-related certifications, including site design, e-commerce, server administration, internetworking, security, application development, and database and enterprise specialization.
CompTIA certifications are vendor-neutral. Best known for the A+ certification, they also provide many prerequisites toward advanced certifications such as Microsoft's MCSA and Novell's CNE.
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) developed for the health care and insurance industries. Certification is available for HIPAA Professionals, Security Specialist and Administrators.
Microsoft, the most ubiquitous software provider. Certifications range from Office Specialist and Desktop Support to System Engineers, Database Administrators and Application Developers.
Novell provides networking solutions, and their certifications cover not only their Netware and Enterprise products, but also expertise that crosses both vendors and platforms.
Oracle certifications offer three paths: database administration, application development and web application service administration. Each has associate, professional and master-level certifications.
SCP focuses on network security. SCNP certifies knowledge of defensive security strategies while SCNA test the building of secure networks.
Sun certifications cover internet technologies such as Java as well as Sun-specific application and directory servers and network storage.
